905 Run & Tap Connector (TP-1310-905) is used to electrically connect a wire end (tap) to a through (run) wire and insulate the connection. It is a type of electrical connector used in electrical installations to join or tap into an existing electrical conductor, typically a main electrical wire or cable (the "run"), in order to create a connection for an additional branch circuit or device (the "tap"). These connectors are designed to facilitate safe and secure electrical connections without the need for cutting or splicing the main conductor.
This single-pin version features a reliable metal contact blade that pierces the insulation of both the run and tap wires without stripping, enabling a fast, permanent electrical connection.
